I was in need of a new place for taking notes and journaling. I like books with thick, blank pages, spiral bound, and hard covers. I found just the thing at Michael's but needed to add a little creativity. My quotes board on Pinterest freely offered lots of ideas and inspiration, and my collection of colored pencils and pens were up to the task. And, so I spent the afternoon sketching and thinking. I believe a very lovely way to pass the afternoon.
