Jan. 10: Framed Recipes

Today I had the joy of crafting with a friend. While being creative in it's own right is tons of fun, a good friend and good conversation always make it even better, and I have had the pleasure of making some new crafty friends in Annapolis. These framed recipes did not take long to put together and gave us plenty of time enjoy each other, her precious dog, and some delicious black-bean soup and fresh baked bread.

For the framed recipes, I re-wrote two recipes that are used often in our house and would be convenient to have at the ready on the wall. I used scrapbook paper to make the background and scrounged up some frames out of storage in the basement. If you don't have a box of unused frames in your basement, the dollar store would be a good place to get a simple, inexpensive frame. There you have it, simple, useful decoration for the kitchen wall.
