I saw this cute string of hearts on dottie angel's blog this morning and decided I needed to make it, today. http://dottieangel.blogspot.com/2012/02/little-string-of-happy-hearts-howto.html
I mostly followed her simple, quick instructions. However I always have a hard time cutting up books, so I used magazine pages instead of book pages. Also I stitched around the paper hearts with the sewing machine after holding them in place with glue stick.
Even though Phil, the groundhog, saw his shadow this morning and forecast 6 more weeks of winter, I decided it was time to take my winter wreath off the front door. This string of hearts was a perfect replacement.
