Jan. 7: Pom Pom Flowers

From freezing cold to spring like temperatures in a matter of days. This may be my first winter in Maryland, but I suspect this is not normal. I would still like some winter; I enjoy those cold, brisk walks and cozy cups of hot tea. Whatever the temperature, these flowers made of yarn will last and bring a little spring to our table.

I mostly followed the tutorial found here, http://poopscape.com/projects/pompomflower/pompomflower.htm. Not having wire or florist tape, I used some sticks I found outside as the stems for my flowers. I like the natural look it gives.
